The hackle pliers model CFT-120 Midge works perfectly for normal hackles as well for parachutes. The pliers have a pair of superb grips on the clip and, plenty of purchase area under the flared points too. The flexible rubber neck between the clip and the finger-loop is absolutely new to me and although you think at first it will not last for long, you will change your mind quickly when using it. It’s very solid and seems very good quality rubber indeed. The elastic motion surely will help prevent the hackle quills from snapping while winding. It’s a brilliant little tool.Features

Full Whiting Bronze Grade dry fly Saddle Rooster Capes. Will tie 100's of dry flies. Will mainly tie 14's to 18's with some feathers tying either side. Grading is based on several characteristics; Average Hackle Lengh, Number of usable dry fly tying feathers, predominant tying sizes of the feathers and the minimum number of flies it could tie. For a bronze grade saddle will tie between size 10 and 18. This beautiful cape will tie a minimum of 400 flies (900 on average but variation applies). -
