I have looked long and hard for marabou to match ours here at funky fly tying and think i have now found it. I have inspected a few packs and EVERY feather is simple superb. Most bags of soft hackle are full of unuseble rubbish with a few feathers that are suitable for hackling. Nature's Spirit Select Grizzly hackles are different. EVERY hackle is usable so although the packets look smaller they are better valu then other brands on the market and you get superb colours as well. 20 Colours of Grizzle Hackle. Use the grizzle collaring hackle for Salmon flies, Saltwater flies, Lures etc. These are superb. Fish Hunter Spey Marabou is the same thing as their regular marabou but bigger. Spey Marabou is a big fly tyer's best friend, Coming in all the same colors this size of feather is great for wrapping collars, tying big intruder type patterns, and articulated streamers. Coming in at 5-7 inches long. Think collars for Predator flies as well. You can also strip the herl off to use in the regular way for tails and wings. Perfect for Stillwater flies. -
A fairly stiff hair with fine to medium diameter. If we want only the splaying properties in a flared hair we go to moose body hair instead of bucktail. Similar in length and texture to standard moose body hair only with a mix of white, brown, and black colors. An interesting material which can be used to wrap bodies as well as for tails and wings. These small tufts make realistic wings on smaller flies, size 14-26. They also are advantageous for emerging midge patterns when you want that vulnerable suspension effect in the surface film. This is my favorite dubbing from Nature's Spirit. Loads of shine but lovely natural colours. You could also put a pinch in to natural hair dubbings like squirrel or rabbit so and a inner sparkle. All the Emergence dubbings are mixes of colour not one solid colour. So many people told me to get this dubbing in and I'm glad I did. -

Superb product from Nature's Spirit. We have never seen this before but there is good demand for it from Pike fly tiers. Very long, nicely shaped feathers which will palmer even your largest flies and have enough length to collar the front off as well. Because the colors are dyed over tan they tend to be rich rather than bright. We think you will love these feathers! 1/8 ounce per package. -

These large spey feathers are made from 3" to 5" goose coquille feathers which are specially processed to create a particularly spiky, long fibered feather. This "burning" process is tricky business, but we get good results and many of our dealers sell a ton of this product with a high level of customer satisfaction.
