3" x 4" patch COW ELK BACKSTRIP This hair comes from the mane to the rump of the cow elk which is longer and darker than flank hair. Averaqes about 2" in length with a texture that makes a great wing on larger, high floating Stonefly and Hopper patterns. Beautiful rich color. BULL ELK BACKSTRIP The strip of hair which extends down the back of the hide from the mane to the rump. Some interesting color variations in a 2" to 3" hair that has the correct texture for large down wing dry patterns. -

These straight and long fibered spade hackles have been hand selected to possess just the right stiffness for straight or divided tails on no hackle dun, spinner and standard dry fly patterns The tailing material is also preen oil processed after drying to bring the feather back to its natural state. In order to dye feathers, fur, and hair, complete removal of all oil is paramount to achieve maximum penetration and permanence of colour. The majority of dyed natural materials are devoid of their original natural oils and in most instances carry chemical odours that could possibly alarm fish who have highly sensitive scent glands. All of Nature's Spirits products are proudly processed with pure, natural preen oil. Natural preen oil processed materials possess resilience, sheen and a benign scent that can be translated into flies that are visually and functionally in a class of their own.

This is a package of select sharptail grouse. Perfect for wet flies and soft hackles. -
This straight hair averages about three inches in length. It is spiky and has a nice sheen. It is a dense hair, so there is a minimum of flair when you tie it in. Nature's Spirit bleach the fur pieces before dying it and the colors come out very well. This is a very cool material that will enhance your hairwing patterns. Come in 1½" by 2" pieces. Cow elk tend to have consistently nice rump hair so most of our rump hair comes from the cow elk. The color varies from charcoal to brown to blond with lengths up to 4". the texture is very coarse. A popular hair for extended body patterns. Also makes nice segmented bodies for hoppers. -
Blood quill marabou in 3 1/2" to 4 1/2" length. These fluffy turkey body feathers have a tremendous amount of action in the water. Bull Elk from Nature's Spirit. Nature's Spirit Bull Elk is a tough hair that is a favorite of many fly tyers for tying any type of flies that incorporate hair in the wings or body. This is a classic fly tying material and fly tying hair. This is the flank hair off the bull elk. The color varies from light ginger to creamy blonde (rarely almost white) with dark tips. Great for Stimulators, Humpies, and the classic hair for the Troth Elk Hair Caddis. Try using the black for beetle patterns. -

A classic fur for winging flies. The guard hair is light at the base, with a dark midsection and light tip. It takes the dye beautifully. These large spey feathers are made from 3" to 5" goose coquille feathers which are specially processed to create a particularly spiky, long fibered feather. This "burning" process is tricky business, but we get good results and many of our dealers sell a ton of this product with a high level of customer satisfaction. Mutation Fox is a fur that has a black tip on its hair. Giving you a two tone coloration for a sleek darker look to your fly. They are perfect for wings and composite loops. A fairly stiff hair with fine to medium diameter. If we want only the splaying properties in a flared hair we go to moose body hair instead of bucktail. Superb product from Nature's Spirit. We have never seen this before but there is good demand for it from Pike fly tiers. Very long, nicely shaped feathers which will palmer even your largest flies and have enough length to collar the front off as well. Because the colors are dyed over tan they tend to be rich rather than bright. We think you will love these feathers! 1/8 ounce per package.
