3″ x 4″ patch
COW ELK BACKSTRIP
This hair comes from the mane to the rump of the cow elk which is longer and darker than flank hair. Averaqes about 2″ in length with a texture that makes a great wing on larger, high floating Stonefly and Hopper patterns. Beautiful rich color.
BULL ELK BACKSTRIP
The strip of hair which extends down the back of the hide from the mane to the rump. Some interesting color variations in a 2″ to 3″ hair that has the correct texture for large down wing dry patterns.
