We stock a massive range of Whiting American Whole saddles and capes. Each cape is very large and has a feather that has a lovely taper to it. Soft, wide and webby. They are a very flexible cape and can be used for a host of tying applications from Salmon and Seatrout flies though to Saltwater flies. The best genetic Saltwater capes available in our opinion. -

Full Whiting Bronze Grade dry fly Saddle Rooster Capes. Will tie 100's of dry flies. Will mainly tie 14's to 18's with some feathers tying either side. Grading is based on several characteristics; Average Hackle Lengh, Number of usable dry fly tying feathers, predominant tying sizes of the feathers and the minimum number of flies it could tie. For a bronze grade saddle will tie between size 10 and 18. This beautiful cape will tie a minimum of 400 flies (900 on average but variation applies).
