We hand select every feather giving the tier a range of sizes in both single and double dot feathers. Very useful on many salmon and steelhead patterns. Many years ago a Central Oregon mailman named Woody designed a series of all purpose style nymphs ala Andy Puyans using guinea for the tail, wingcase and legs. Cow elk tend to have consistently nice rump hair so most of our rump hair comes from the cow elk. The color varies from charcoal to brown to blond with lengths up to 4". the texture is very coarse. A popular hair for extended body patterns. Also makes nice segmented bodies for hoppers. -
Superb feather for intruder style flies or to use tying nymphs etc. Emu feathers come in two prime types for a fly tiers use, fluffy barbules and hard pin type barbules.

CLEARANCE SALE When people heard we were distributing Nature's Spirt products they all said get the dubbings in they are superb so we listened and have imported them in. Nature's Spirit fine natural dubbing is very easy to dub and has some wonderful natural colours. Well worth buy a few packets to try or buy one of the dubbing boxes.

These large spey feathers are made from 3" to 5" goose coquille feathers which are specially processed to create a particularly spiky, long fibered feather. This "burning" process is tricky business, but we get good results and many of our dealers sell a ton of this product with a high level of customer satisfaction. A Trio of UV cure resins each with it's own character and viscosity so that you have one to suit your needs, you can use them for anything from thin heads to full on bidy sculpting! Apply in shade. Most bags of soft hackle are full of unuseble rubbish with a few feathers that are suitable for hackling. Nature's Spirit Select Grizzly hackles are different. EVERY hackle is usable so although the packets look smaller they are better valu then other brands on the market and you get superb colours as well. 20 Colours of Grizzle Hackle. A fairly stiff hair with fine to medium diameter. If we want only the splaying properties in a flared hair we go to moose body hair instead of bucktail. Similar in length and texture to standard moose body hair only with a mix of white, brown, and black colors. An interesting material which can be used to wrap bodies as well as for tails and wings.
